TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
6-8-2022
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the Community Center. Meeting called to
order by Dan at 6:35pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel,
Supervisor 1, Mike Yahn, Supervisor, and Sue Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 5-18-2022 were reviewed, Motion to approve previous minutes with addendum of receiving additional
funds from DNR Pilt for road bid change made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
? David Epstein was present and informed the Board that the Town owns .28 acres in front of the Post Office.
Motion by George to deed over property with same stipulations that David pay for all legal fees, seconded by
Mike. Motion carried.
INSURANCE REVIEW WITH OUR AGENT
? Matt Rhodes with Rural Insurance was present and went over the Town's policy that renews 7-1-2023.
CLERKS REPORT
• Check number 17616 thru 17630 with 2 EFT for a total of $20,388.33.
• 2nd Insurance claim for salt shed doors received in the amount of $3804.27.
• Motion to accept clerk’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
OPERATOR/LIQUOR LICENSES
? All Liquor/Beer/Cigarette and Operator Applications received were all renewed for the 2022-2023 Period.
Reporting to the State of Wisconsin is completed. Temporary License given to the Park Commission for the
benefit for Casey Hayden Memorial Softball tournament being held at the park July 8th thru July 10 th, 2022.
? Applications received for Fay Withers and Annie Clairemont for Trails End. Motion by George to approve
applications as presented, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
TREASURERS REPORT
• Sue reported checking account balance as of 5-31-2022 is $355,380.09
• Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

REVIEW EQUIPMENT/MOWER (REPAIR OR PURCHASE)
? Pay Woods Sale and Service for fixing old mower - plan on using old mower thru the remainder of this year.
ROADS/DAVIDS REPORT.
? Mike went over Dave's shop and equipment report.
? Salt Shed Quotes received from Mid-State Door and Opener Company - Motion to accept Quote #2 made by
Mike, seconded by George. Motion carried. Motion rescinded as quote was for replacing same type of doors on
salt shed - Board wants a roll up garage door with garage door opener and new quote will need to be written.
? Concrete has been poured at the Park by shelter.
Mail/Vouchers reviewed and signed. Motion to Adjourn made by George, seconded by Mike.
Meeting Adjourned 7:42 pm.
