TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
2-9-2022
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Community Center. Meeting called to order by Dan at 6:32pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel, Supervisor 1, Mike Yahn, Supervisor, and Sue Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 1-12-2022 were reviewed, Motion to approve previous minutes made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Dave Epstein noted that he has seen a lot of coyote's in town.
Sue noted that the 150th Anniversary Planning Mtg will be on February 24th at 6:30pm

CLERKS REPORT
Check number 17500 thru 17531 with 1 EFT for a total of $33,449.13. 3 checks were voided 17503, 17504, 17517.
Dan asked if the Town could put money towards an Equipment Fund and carry-over from year to year to save for unexpected equipment hardships. Dawn will need to check on this request. Generally the town uses all of the budgeted money every year.
Motion to accept clerk’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

OPERATOR/LIQUOR LICENSES
Operator Application for Anthony Spurling - Trails End was received. Motion to approve application as presented by Mike, seconded by George. Motion carried.

MOSELY UPDATE
Tax Lein on parcel # 036-0337.0000 has been paid by the Town of Millston.

TREASURERS REPORT
Sue Marcou reported checking account balance as of 1-31-2022 is $381,697.99.
Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

ROADS/DAVIDS REPORT.
Mike went over Dave's shop and equipment report. 1996 Loader is out of commission, requiring major repair work and is no longer beneficial to the town. Motion by Mike to purchase a 2016 Loader for $105,900.00 using ATC money, seconded by George. Motion carried. The 1996 Loader will be either traded in or sold
Sheriff's Patrol may need to be increased due to break-ins and vandalism in the town.

Mail/Vouchers reviewed and signed. Motion to Adjourn made by George, seconded by Mike.
