TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
1-12-2022
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at the Community Center. Meeting called to order by Dan at 6:30pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel, Supervisor 1, Mike Yahn, Supervisor, and Sue Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 12-15-2021 were reviewed, Motion to approve previous minutes made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Sue noted that this year will be Millston's 150th Anniversary and special additions will be added to this year's July 3rd Celebration at the park.
Mosser Lee had a Christmas Caravan for kids for 2021 and it was a huge success.
CLERKS REPORT
Check number 17472 thru 17499 with 3 EFT for a total of $141,266.98.
Black River Falls Fire Department sent a letter in regards to local municipalities share of paying for a new fire truck for their department. Motion by Mike to choose Option 2, seconded by George. Motion carried.
Annual DNR PILT is currently $36,670.76 that the town receives. Rates per acres will be increasing to $3.50/acre which will increase our Annual PILT to approximately $146,989.26.
Motion to accept clerk’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
OPERATOR/LIQUOR LICENSES

TREASURERS REPORT
Sue Marcou reported checking account balance as of 12-31-21 is $360,494.071.
Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by George, seconded by Mike. Motion carried.
CLEANING COMMUNITY CENTER
Community Center could use a good cleaning because of the ceiling work that was completed. Suggestions included - getting quote from Serene Clean in BRF or asking Jenny from the Museum if they could do the extra cleaning.
MOSELY UPDATE
Attorney Harnisch recommended the Town Board remove the tax lien on parcel 036-0337.0000. Recommendation will be executed.

Mike went over Dave's shop and equipment report.

Mail/Vouchers reviewed and signed. Motion to Adjourn made by George, seconded by Mike.
