TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
12-15-2021
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Community Center. Meeting called to order by Dan at 6:30pm. Board Members present: Dan Smrekar, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla, Clerk, George Riedel, Supervisor 1, and Susan Marcou, Treasurer. Absent: Mike Yahn, Supervisor 2
Minutes from 11-17-2021 were reviewed, Motion to approve previous minutes made by George, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
none

CLERKS REPORT
Check number 17444 thru 17471 with 2 EFT for a total of $33,369.88 were written.
Operator’s application received for Kevin Brown (new) for the BuckStop . Motion by George to accept applications as presented, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.

TREASURERS REPORT
Sue reported checking account balance as of 11-30-21 is $318,746.536.
Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by George, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.

ELECTION INSPECTOR NOMINATIONS
Election officials nominated and appointed by the town board for the next two year term 1/1/2022 thru 12/31/2023 are Lynn Stratton (chief inspector), Gertrude Harkner (inspector), Mary Bunde (inspector), Christine Moore (inspector), Catalina Schooler (inspector), Penny Zoephel (alternate), Norm Faeth (alternate). All appointed election inspectors present received and completed their official oath and returned to the clerk. Gertrude H and Norn F will be notified by mail.

REVIEW EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION/CHRISTMAS GIFT CARDS
Motion to Approve a $1.00 increase in Employees wages made by Dan, seconded by George. Motion carried.
Motion to Approve Cenex Gift Cards for $75.00 for Dave, Clay and Roger for Christmas.

DAVES REPORT BY GEORGE
George went over Dave's shop and equipment report.
Beaver Trapper Brian Joyner submitted his new contract rates of $250.00 per year plus $50.00 each time he checks the traps. In cases where David can check the traps there will be no charge. Motion by George to accept contract as presented, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.

Mail/Vouchers reviewed and signed. Motion to Adjourn made by George, seconded by Dan.
